Tasty and Healthy Hummus

Making your own hummus is cheap and easy!
This Turmeric and Ginger Hummus includes Curcumall®, giving it a vibrant color that will pop on the plate and provide us with the health benefits of curcumin
For the Hummus:
1 Can of Chickpeas drain in a sieve
then rinse several times with tap water
and bring to a boil in a saucepan and cool
In a food processor combine:
3/4
of the chickpeas
(the rest will be used for the topping)
2 tablespoon tahini
1/2 squeezed lemon
2 crushed garlic cloves
1/2 t grated ginger
1 teaspoon Curcumall®
1/2 teaspoon cumin
1/4 teaspoon salt
pinch of black pepper
1 Tablespoon olive oil
2 Tablespoon water
For the Topping:
1/4 of the chickpeas (dried with a tissue)
1 teaspoon olive oil mixed with 1/2 teaspoon Curcumall®
Optional: garnish with parsley, black olives and sheri tomatoes
